Educational purpose

Guest views and medical claims

Guests speak from their own experience and expertise. Summaries distinguish a guest's explanation from the host's conclusions, avoid guarantees, and add context when a medical outcome applies only to selected patients.

Transcripts and captions

Draft transcripts are created locally with speech-recognition software, then reviewed for names, medical terminology, obvious recognition errors, and readability. Light punctuation and false-start cleanup may be applied without changing meaning. When audio and text differ, the recording is authoritative.

Privacy and patient stories

Patient anecdotes are kept at the level shared publicly by the guest and are de-identified where appropriate. Sensitive private details are not added to summaries or transcripts.
